Subject: conecting rods for 392

when I rebuilt my hemi the first time there was a guy that built race boats
who told me that they used to use ( I think it was) buick conecting rods
that had oil galleries to the wrist pins. but they had to free float
the pins. I had not thought of this in a long time untill I saw your
web site and started to consider the hemi under the bench again. Have
you ever heard about this modification before. I really don't remember
which rods he said to use but it might have been from the aluminum
block (early 60's) not sure if that was it though?  Well enough of
your time taken for my ramblings.  just though it might be some lost trick!
